It depends on how many data sources need to be integrated and how complex the underlying data is. A well-defined scope with clear business value can often be implemented quickly, while a broader implementation involving multiple systems takes longer.
Power BI is often sufficient when data has already been collected or when the need is limited to reporting. If data is currently scattered across multiple systems without a unified view, or if the need for data integration is growing, Microsoft Fabric is often a better choice in the long run.
